Hi, my name is Jere' Pelletier. I was born and brought up in Lynn, Mass. I am one of five brothers, two sisters and a myriad of foster children that my Mom and Dad raised.  I moved to NH in late '89.

I have 2 great children, Shawn and Briana, 4 grandchildren Peyton, Brooke, Avery and C J.  Both of my kids reside in the Jacksonville Florida area. I am extremely proud of my kids, and love them more than words can describe!

I was a fire fighter in Lynn, Mass. and was hurt (knees) fighting a fire in January of 1981. I ended up retiring as a result of the injury in 1984. Being still able to golf, I ended up in Florida looking for work, and ended up working at Royal Oak Country Club, in Titusville, Fla.  Starting out as a ranger and starter, that changed when playing with the pro's at the course on an even basis (no strokes given or taken) and taking a few bucks off of them,  I was moved up to an assistant  pro position there in 1985. I fell in love with the golf business, and found out that I have a God given talent for teaching golf. I have been a teaching pro ever since.

The Golf Guy shop is the result of $15 as a start-up cost ( 1 set of clubs sold in front of my house in a yard sale), In order to grow the business I ended up eating virtually nothing but peanut butter, raisin bran, and cheap tuna fish for several years. By re-investing profits year after year, the shop has grown into a great business. I am fortunate enough to own a house in Florida and be able to play and teach all year long.

I live to a quote by Abraham Lincoln .."people are about as happy as they make up their minds to be"

I learned my teaching skills from a variety of other golf pro's, and have a God given gift of being able to see your swing in slow motion, making it much easier to delineate what your swing strengths and flaws are. Most of my students are able to learn at an accelerated rate as a result. I have quite a strong following, and enjoy sharing in my clienteles successes.

Be Good to yourself!
